Here it is: the blog post about the importance of blog posts. As a business, having content on your site that’s frequently changing is important, and blog posts are a great way to make sure that happens. Ok, but why is that important? A little thing I like to call Google Indexing (I like to call it that because, well, that is what it’s called).
Without getting into too much of the technical nitty-gritty, Googlebot, Google’s version of spiders, crawls across pages that are new or have been updated and adds them to its ever-expanding index. They are capable of advertising websites from Scottsdale dentist to other niches.
So when someone searches for a keyword, Google scans the index for what it determines to be the most relevant results. Many factors contribute to this relevancy ranking, but in a nutshell, Google will index a site more frequently the more often its content changes. [frame align=”right”]
Plus, let’s face it; your business has fans and followers. If you’re doing your job right, people check your site, and an ever-expanding blog roll is a great way to keep them coming back for more. Think about doing postings that include photos and even videos about your trade – why not?
There is so much freedom in blogging. Forget about technical, office-y jargon and speak to your customers, and potential customers, conversationally.
